We were thrilled to be honored with 34 awards last night from the BMA Carolinas — including our 4th Agency of the Year award.
In a fun spy-themed party in downtown Charlotte, MC’d by Chad Hartman and Kamran Popkin, we won 4 gold awards, 16 silver awards, 13 bronze awards, and the coveted Agency of the Year trophy.
The awards recognized the breadth of the work that we produce, as we won for websites, microsites, integrated campaigns, direct mail, ads, posters, corporate identity, packaging, videos, social media, CD-ROMs, sales collateral, and public relations.
And a broad base of our clients was honored in the awards given as well — in total, work for 14 different clients was recognized.
- Gold awards were given for work done for Cryovac, T&S Brass, and VantagePoint Marketing.
- Silver awards were given for work done for BMA Carolinas, Cryovac, Estes, Milliken, Ortec, Polydeck, SEW-Eurodrive, Span America, T&S Brass, and WEG Electric.
- Bronze awards were given for work done for Barnhardt Manufacturing, Estes, Itron, Sensortech, SEW-Eurodrive, Span America, T&S Brass, and U.S. Xpress.
We owe a debt of gratitude to our clients that make all this stellar work possible, as well as to a wonderful team of VantagePoint professionals who work tirelessly to produce great work for our clients. And thanks to Chad and the rest of the BMA board for all their work, as well as to Kamran for his witty MC-ing. Thank you all!
There’s a song from the musical/movie Evita that starts “And the money kept rolling in from every side.” Well, it hasn’t exactly been money, but the awards and honors? They seem to keep on coming for us here at VantagePoint, and for that we’re very, very grateful.
We were recently honored to learn that BtoB magazine, the journal for business-to-business marketers and agencies, named VantagePoint to their national Top Agencies list for the third time. Criteria for selection included b-to-b client percentage, new clients, innovative work, and service capabilities. What makes the honor that much more exciting to us is that we were one of only four marketing agencies in both North and South Carolina to be named to the list.
And just this week, we learned that we’ve won at least one award from the South Carolina chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. (We’ll get the final results later in April.) Add in the Addy award we won a few weeks ago and last fall’s 31 BMA Carolinas awards, including Agency of the Year, and it’s been a good season for us.
We’re truly grateful for our clients that let us do outstanding work, and equally as grateful when that outstanding work leads to great results for our clients.
